WCCA Health Committee was established on December 20, 2018. Led by Dr. Qi Wang the Health Committee is joint by a small group of enthusiastic local medical professionals.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the WCCA Health Committee and the WCCA Emergency Response Committee worked together under the leadership of the WCCA Committee to host various online and offline activities for the community and members. These activities included promoting epidemic prevention and health knowledge, assisting in the distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE), purchasing and delivering food for quarantined individuals and elderly and vulnerable members as well as local people at large. Volunteers under the guidance of the Health Committee also worked to provide transportation between home and hospitals for patients with limited mobility.

Today, the WCCA Health Committee continues to play an important role in promoting, educating, and raising community health awareness. If you have any questions or suggestions for the Health Committee, please leave a comment in the section below or send an email to inquiry@waterloocca.com.
